Meet Dr. Ash Sethi
Dr. Sethi has a true passion for perfecting smiles, building confidence, and making a life-changing difference in his patients’ lives. He was in the 10th grade when he decided to become an orthodontist! In high school, he was accepted into the dual-degree, 7-year accelerated Bio-Dental program at the University of Pennsylvania. During his time in dental school, he ranked among the top in his class at Penn Dental Medicine. After graduation, he was accepted into the highly competitive orthodontic residency at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, where he completed a rigorous 3 years of purely orthodontic training and earned a Master’s Degree due to his research in orthodontics. After completing his residency, Dr. Sethi went on to become an ABO Board-Certified Orthodontist, which demonstrates his continued pursuit of excellence in orthodontics.
Dr. Sethi has lived all over PA — Scranton, Stroudsburg, Easton, and Philadelphia. He is the only dental specialist in a family full of medical doctors of different specialties (so healthcare is literally in his blood!). Dr. Sethi’s goal has always been to work in a private practice where he can provide exceptional clinical care while giving back to the community he can call home. Dr. Sethi just got engaged this past fall to his beautiful fiancée, Lasya, who is currently training to be an orthopedic surgeon.
Dr. Sethi enjoys photography, being outdoors, learning about finance and the stock market, and when it comes to tech, he is a wizard. He loves music and has about 20 pairs of headphones and over 200 Spotify playlists. He loves sci-fi movies, murder mysteries, and can watch Marvel Avengers movies on repeat (Pre-Avengers-Endgame, of course). He has loved video games and their ability to connect people since a young age. Dr. Sethi can hold his own in a tennis match, and tries to channel his love of precision into learning golf (if anyone is giving lessons, please let him know).
Fun Fact! Dr. Sethi LOVES to teach (you’ll see) and so enjoys being a mentor just as much he loves being an orthodontist. He is on staff at Abington (Jefferson) Hospital as a faculty attending and is teaching and training the next generation of dentists.
Meet Dr. Gary Udis
Dr. Udis is a lifetime resident of the Philadelphia area with over 40 years of orthodontic experience. He graduated the University of Pennsylvania, received his doctorate from Temple University School of Dentistry and completed his orthodontic residency at Columbia University.
He has been named a “Top Dentist” in Philadelphia Magazine since 2010, an award that is voted on by peers. He teaches at Abington Memorial Hospital and continues to pursue the latest advances in orthodontics through continuing education.
Dr. Udis and his wife live in Upper Dublin, where they have raised three children. If you live in the area, there’s a good chance you’ve already “seen his work” in the smiles of families throughout the community.
